Become a member of the Cyprus Sociology Association
The Cyprus Sociological Association (CSA) is funded, almost, exclusively by the members’ annual membership contributions. For this reason it is very important that you pay your contribution in time.
New Member Registration Procedure
In order to become a registered regular member of CSA you need to be an owner of BA/ Masters or PhD Degree in Sociology, from a registered Tertiary Education Institution.
Sociology students can register as temporary members until they graduate and then they can change their status into a regular member. Social Scientists of related Disciplines to Sociology, such as Social Anthropology or Social Policy, can register as connected members.
To be able to register as a member the following are required:
- Photo-copy of your Degree/s
- Course Transcript photocopy
- Registration fee - €10 (ten euro)
- Annual membership for the current year - €20 (twenty euro)
- Copy of bank deposit (in case you choose to pay directly into CSA’s bank account)

Temporary and connected members pay €10 (ten euro) for registration and €17 (seventeen euro) for their annual membership.
In order to register you can download the Registration Form and print it.
After completing it you can send it by post, enclosing all required documents to the following address:

Registration fee and annual membership can be paid either:
- by postal order or personal cheque and send to the above address
- by direct payment to CSA’s above shown bank account in which case you need to send by post the photocopy of the payment slip to CSA’s address.
Registration Renewal
All members are obliged to pay their annual membership which is currently €20 (twenty euro).
The Cyprus Sociological Association
- Issues membership cards for all members
- Informs members on all scientific events organised or co-organised by the Association
- Informs members on all scientific events organised in Cyprus or abroad
- Informs members about newsletters and publications
- Issues registration certificates for members upon request
- Offers its members a free University of Nicosia Library membership
- Forwards to members ISA and ESA announcements and newsletters by email
- Subsidizes Conference Presentations abroad, depending on the Association’s annual financial status and with the approval of the Executive Council.
